AI Integration in the End-to-End Design & Development Process

Podcast script/content and audio was independently generated by Google's AI in NotebookLM. I exported that audio, excerpted the last 3 minutes, and added visuals to create this video.

This project addresses critical performance gaps at a fictional fast-food restaurant, RoboBurger Express, by:
1. Analyzing needs and performance issues through an AI-Assisted Performance Consulting Report.
2. Designing and developing diverse instructional materials and performance support tools, with AI as a partner in content creation, visual asset generation, audio asset generation, bot testing, and content refinement.
3. Prioritizing high-impact areas such as dietary order accuracy, packaging consistency, and effective human-robot interaction.
The resulting instructional design positions "RoboBurger Express" (fictional) to significantly enhance operational efficiency, ensure stringent food safety compliance, and ultimately elevate customer satisfaction and trust through effectively trained and supported staff.
RoboBurger Performance & Training Needs
Synopsis: A mind map visualizing the performance consulting report (PCR) and learning needs analysis I created from the provided "Roboburger Express Learning Doc," from publicly available kitchen health and safety codes, and from my inputs/annotations as a performance consultant and curriculum designer.
The PCR itself and the interactive mind map of it are both available in NotebookLM,

RoboBurger Welcome Video for the Course, "Verifying Dietary Orders."
Synopsis: To explore AI’s role in end-to-end instructional design, I used a case study called, “Roboburger Express Learning Doc” from Josh Cavalier’s course, AI Intensive for L&D Professionals, as a springboard.
Drawing on knowledge and skills from:
-Josh Cavalier's three-day hands-on course, AI Intensive for L&D Professionals
-Vanderbilt University's three-course certification, Generative AI Assistants Specialization
-Google's five-course certification, Generative AI Leader certification
I partnered with AI to conduct performance consulting, analyze learning needs, design a learning journey, and outline the first two modules of the learning journey, including videos, text, assessments, a job aid, and a performance support chatbot. The samples below are pieces I developed from that design.
Roles: Performance consultant, learning experience designer, course developer, graphic designer, copy editor, prompt engineer
Tools: ChatGPT, Perplexity, ImagenAI, Synthesia, Creative Cloud, Illustrator, One Drive.
